The Star

A superb day in York today with Lovelupins17 and Sushi 267 on something of a photographic expedition. It was the last weekend of the York Mystery Plays, these are plays based on the biblical stories from creation to the last judgement. They are moved around the cities on wagons and performed in various places throughout the city.

There were some beautiful and interesting costumes and characters but I thought this lady particularly enchanting. I have put some other pictures from the day in my blipfolio.
