I planted some Goldenrod in the garden a few years ago - maybe not the brightest move as the blasted stuff don't half spread but the bees love it so I'm happy.

I just yank loads of it when it's coming up and that more or less keeps it thinned out.

I had been planning to do a still life today but the day went a bit wonky so it's fortunate I spent half an hour earlier this afternoon playing with the camera :) Focus could be better ie. his/her head - but not too bad.....
