Butterfly and thistle

Unlike yesterday, I woke up to glorious sunshine. There was hardly a breath of wind so after breakfast I set out for Bowden Loch to try for a good shot of reflection on the hopefully calm surface. Unfortunately, there is lots of weed growing in the water so I didn't bother stopping the car. I did stop a little further on when I saw the Belted Galloway cows in the field but I saw this butterfly on a thistle and thought it would make a getter blip.
