The Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, Newcastle

Even on dull overcast days, 'the Baltic' is still an imposing and fascinating part of the Newcastle quayside skyline! The colours in the windows of the 1930's structure are a 2002 addition but they always catch my attention from the Millenium bridge as the evening sun reflects off them......

Unfortunately, on Saturday, the weather was...well wet!...and dull!....if it were in Scotland it would have been referred to as Dreich! But even so the colours still stand out.....more so with the walls popped to B&W
