After the rain

All the garden was fresh and bright after yesterdays rain, and had that lovely smell.
No rain today, and very warm although little sun.
Old neighbours called round this morning. Haven't seen them for ages and had a lot of catching up to do.
Before you know it 2 hours had passed by!

Watched some of The Tour de France on TV. They were cycling through the area we go to. However the rain came down again! Not like the sunshine we had in June!
However managed to brighten up for the finish in Nimes.

Also watched the British Open. Quite a nail biting finish. Well done Rory McIlroy!
I bet his father was pleased too, as he won a bet he had put on when Rory was 15, that he would win the British Open before he was 25. So £50,000 coming his way!!
