Breaker breaker...

Another one off the bucket list today. A wee wander around a car scrap yard.

Our car needed bulbs for the dashboard. Not the types you can pick up at the garage with your fuel and cat food, the type where you have do partially dismantle the dashboard to get to and find that they are rather specialist.

I'm quite sure that Citreon would charge a pretty penny for them but the local scrap yard merely charged me the entry fee of one british pound. That one pound had paid for itself within the first two minutes meandering around.

Found a load of cars in the French section that had similar bulbs but wasn't until I found our type of car in the MPV section that I was able to extract two cars worth of bulbs which are probably way more than I'll ever need. They didn't even charge me for the bulbs. Brill.

I quite fancy going back and paying the pound entry just to go and dismantle cars to see how they go together.
