Home Sweet Home!

Two very apt decorations - one embroidered and one a little moulded plaque...both gifts from my parents indicating their opinion of the state of our house and garden!

Anyway, I'm home and mum is now safely installed in a post-operative rehabilitation home nearby, where she will receive the medical and physiotherapy help she needs to get fit enough to return to her home.

It had been a bit of an emotional day for both of us, all the more so when we made a brief visit to her home and she realised she cannot even get off the stairlift at the moment, so really cannot cope alone.
