A busy old day consider it was a Sunday: pancakes then tinkering with my effects pedals and some guitar playing, mowing the lawn, trimming bad a very overgrown buddleja (I know, I should have done it last autumn but didn't have the time), going for a walk in Newburgh and washing the dog.

The dog got too hot on his walk so we wandered down to the edge of the Tay to cool off. Of course, the canine +1 doesn't understand slipways and promptly went off the edge of one into some deep water. A quick swim later and he was back but it did mean a long overdue bath when we got home. Today's alternative.

As the guitar was out, +2/3 decided she wanted to have a shot and try out the effects. She settled on the tele (the small black one is the best Daddy) and some overdrive and a short delay. Decidedly punk in tone but she'll get there.
