800 Midnight Walkers

About 800 ladies took to the streets of Weymouth, well actually the Promenade, after midnight this morning. I did my 5 miles in 90 minutes, so was pretty pleased with myself. Was a fantastic sight seeing a very long column of red flashing headband lights weaving their way along the prom.
Before starting off I lite a candle in memory of my Mum. The lights were places in a message bag.
At the finish, people were clapping us in. Then was presented with a medal, a bacon roll, hot chocolate and a goody bag. Then home to bed! I raised £200 for the Hospice.
