After The Storm.

Went to see 3 year old great granddaughter Bella receive her first medal and diploma for ballet. I love to watch children dancing, it's something really special. On the way back to Brampton for dinner with my daughter Maddy's family, we drove through torrential rain with lightning and thunder. The worst I have ever experienced. The roads were like rivers and on arriving home I had to take my shoes off and paddle to their front door. The water was well above my ankles and after the children were seen to, I wrapped up in a towel whilst my clothes were put in the drier ! Finally it eased up enough to drive back to Cambridge and on seeing this glorious sunset, my daughter stopped on the outskirts of Brampton, where I stood in the middle of the road to quickly get this shot. The worst storm and the best sunset all in one day.
