I caught these two snuggled up this morning, which is most unlike Poppy (at the back) as she prefers her own company. Put the guinea pigs in the garden and then struggled to put them back in their hutch when the thunderstorm started. They didn't want to go in and kept giving me the runaround. Predictably, just as I put the last of their things in the hutch, the clouds let go and dumped everything in one go. Everything flooded: roads, pavements, gardens. It came very close to coming in our front door, but thankfully the rain eased up. The drains were struggling to cope and it seems like a lot of places couldn't cope with the flash flooding. I'm just so glad Dad sold his house, Canvey Island has flooded again.

I need to get to the chemist tomorrow and try some over the counter stuff for a slight water infection. I don't want it getting worse before we go camping on Friday. Plus it's starting to get me down now.
