colonial revival

we journeyed inland to Lichfield County to visit the one time county seat of Lichfield. It was a charming place with broad grassed and tree lined avenues, delightful colonial homesteads, white painted and black shutters. After refuelling at a corner coffee shop we ambled down the shaded street, past the Tapping Reeve Law School, dropping into the library for tips of places to visit . Then back up to the historical society museum for period dress-up and town planning on the mosaic map floor. A lovely day.
