In The Lap of Luxury

It's been a bit of a busy day today. It started off with a great breakfast meeting in Edinburgh where were made lots of plans for the next six months then it was off to St Annes for a surprise visit to The Memsahib

Today was her 90th birthday - so we all arrived and sang Happy Birthday to her on her doorstep in the style of carol singers. Then sat down to a seaside tea of fish 'n chips with mushy peas

The problem of us all arriving at one time, not including Mr Blogs who'll come down on Friday, is that there's not enough room in her small flat. So like the gentleman I am, I volunteered to stay at The Grand Hotel.

So here I am, lying in a bed the size of a small island, watching a cinema sized screen, while nibbling on a snack or two.

It tough ,but one of us had to do it.......

......I'll be up at the crack of lunch for a swim and steam bath.
