Deadly Nightshade
By Julian Wild. My first sighting of a Sculpture in the City piece this year. This one is part of a series "inspired by perennial plants found in the British countryside, and then applied to the angular forms and manmade materials of the contemporary cityscape."
The acid colours are to remind us that what is brightest in colour in nature is often the most deadly.
There are 14 sculptures in total in this year's exhibition. I will try to find and blip them all over time. Always great to enjoy these installations on my wanderings.
