Health and Safety

I have a bit of a love hate relationship with HSE in that I understand where they are coming from and what they are trying to do but it is the methods and over exuberance on the execution of their tasks that sometimes annoy me. I find that they seem to think common sense is a forgotten art and that everyone is looking for reasons to claim compensation (they may be right on that one though).

However today I saw this and HSE was the first thing that came to mind. The wind was blowing hard and this cranes chains were being lowered without a tag line to stop them from swinging about.

HSE must be like the police. There is never one around when you see an infringement.

P.S I apologise if I have hurt the feelings of any HSE people in the making of this blip.
