217 [road to recovery]

I hear they're installing a revolving door at Celtic Park such is the level of transfer activity during this transfer window. The wheeling and dealing has seen players leave, to be replaced by others. Today another arrived, amid reports of another two leaving. Whether the 'ins' are any better than the 'oots' remains to be seen. It would appear though, that the 'biscuit tin' has been shut away, for the time being at least. Hopefully this can lead to a decent recovery after a less-than-impressive first half of the season!

Speaking of recovery, today, the country celebrated the news that we officially came out of recession with a less-than-expected growth of 0.1% in the fourth quarter of 2009. I saw someone online describe it as "getting into the Champions League by finishing fifth". I think Hearts fans would settle for that. :)
