Happy Birthday Flat Mum!!

As you probably guessed today is Amy, my flatmate's, birthday and as most of our flat study languages and have finished their orals, we went to Turtle Bay in Leam for a small celebration. I'd heard the food there is amazing plus they have 2 for 1 cocktails during Happy Hour so it was an easy decision. The food lived up to the hype and the drinks were really nice...as Amy's proving here. As she studies French and German, she had to do two orals this month so she was definitely allowed to let her hair down (metaphorically) for one night!

As for the whole Flat Mum thing, we came up with nicknames for each other near the start of the year...because we're cool like that. As the nicest in the flat, Amy got Flat Mum whereas some of us weren't so fortunate. Mine was probably the worst with Flat C***...You can probably figure it out! On the whole, a really nice day out and the food was amazing! Definitely worth a visit if you get the chance.
