Aloe Vera flower

The aloe flower stalk is stunning and stands 3/4m above the plant itself.

The gel filled centre of each leaf has lot of medical purpose, such as topical treatment for burns, skin conditions or comestic uses. The gel can be made into a drink to ease congestions, stomach ulcers, colitis, haemorrhoids.
I know the gel works on sunburn (refrigerated leaf cutting is best).
