Arthur woke me up at 7:40 am with a repetitive feline cry that convinced me he was hungry and needed breakfast.
So I got an early start put the washing machine on and did some housework. Maria got a longer lie in.
It is 24 here and I am glowing with the humidity.
The morning was gorgeously sunny and warm, blue sky and white clouds.
I went out to the supermarket to buy i newspaper and a Daily Mail.
After my breakfast, I watered several of the local planters and then Maria got up and we went to Blackburn so that she could catch the 12:55 to York.
She is meeting up with B and they are having some time together and a sort out at the new shared house in York.
Maria is planning to return Wednesday evening.
