MonoMonday: Pets

Hopefully posthumous pets are eligible! This is a photo of our last dog, Chester, who died about five and a half years ago now. We had this canvas print made of the photo and it sits on the wall now, from where he keeps a kindly eye on us as he always used to.

When we lost him we felt it would be difficult for another dog to replace him and, as we had plans for for mor extended travel, we thought it would be unfair to have another dog until we get to the point where our travelling days are over.

A last minute request for another photograph at the Playgroup, this time of the children who are leaving to start at the Infants School in September kept me busy all morning; this afternoon we finally found time to stock up with some food for the first time since we got back.
