RM350 1664 Challenge

The front six Marines in this photo (with support runners) have so far skied 1664km across Norway, then sailed in yachts for 1664km to Cadiz, Spain, then cycled for 1664km through Spain and France until they reached the English Channel.

They then boarded kayaks and crossed the water in 64 hours, and arrived in the UK on Saturday, March 22. Since then, they have run through the UK and arrive in London on Friday, when they will have run 1664km.

I can think of better ways of celebrating 350 years of the Royal Marines, but good on them! I didn't know they were marching along the seafront until it suddenly appeared on Facebook, so I took a late lunch break to go and support them.

As is the way with the Marines, they were, of course, late!
