Obscure

We stopped at Dumfries on the way home and spent a very enjoyable 20 minutes or so peering at the town through the camera obscura in the top of this building. Quite a surprising amount of detail could be projected onto the white plate under the lens. Best not be getting up to no good in your bedroom, unless the curtains are well closed.
