Woof to Caspar. He is a spanish mestizo or the germans might call him a Mischling. I don't think we are allowed to use such terminology in the UK any more (non PC) suffice it to say his owners have no idea where he came from or indeed who was involved. They have given him a loving home for the last 10 years first of all in spain and now here in Amesbury. He is a complete and utter fruitcake!
