We were not the first today

Yet another fine morning, we are getting spoilt.

This morning however we had company on the top of Hookney Tor, there were these and several other ponies spread around the top. Ever since we started to come to this Tor as part of our morning routine we have found large groups of these ponies already there. They did not seem to object to our presence and Jinxy was on the lead and quietly watching.

The mare walking over to the left suddenly turned and spent time scratching her head on a rock a few feet from me but all the time watching what I was doing.

I always regard these meetings as special time and a privilege to be there.
