Below Decks

Day 2.

After a settled night in Lochaline, we set off into the Sound of Mull and got the sails up.

Our skipper introduced us to navigation and charting, something all three children quickly picked up.

The weather got a bit choppy as the day went on so we retired below deck to decide on our next course of action.

A trip into beautiful Loch Sunart ensued after lunch in Loch Na Droma Buidhe. We almost settled for an overnight tucked in behind Carna but skipper wasn't happy with our anchorage so we decamped back to Loch Na Droma Buidhe.

Fascinating stuff looking at the charts and making decisions.
