Looks like rain

We had a really nice, relaxed, and laid back day today. A 10:30 train from Shrewsbury got us into Greenwich -via Birmingham and Euston- at about 2 o'clock. Check in at the hotel and then go for a wander around in the sun.

Usually these trips down to Greenwich are a bit of a rush and done in one day so it was nice to have such a laid back afternnon.
We had a trip to the pub for some refreshment/hydration and then a wander around Greenwich market before paying a visit to Cutty Sark.
The best museums are the ones that let you dress like a bit of an idiot and this one lets you put on a souwester hat!

Cutty Sark was really good but we were getting a bit hot up on deck -there was actually no rain in sight- so we headed to find a nice shady beer garden...it'd be rude not to have a drink.
