Foxglove
We went in search of kingfishes today at Wolseley Bridge wildlife centre and only caught a glimpse of a blue flash, so after a coffee and a little snack we decided to have a walk along the canal.
It was very busy with narrowboats and at one of the locks we chatted to a lovely couple who owned this traditional narrowboat named Foxglove, as they waited their turn to use the lock ( I never found out their names which is a shame). The boat was beautifully painted inside and out with a lovingly polished Gardner engine that sounded like a heart beat as it went by.
