at home with an Ivysaurus

Ivy's new job

Everybody loves Ivy. She makes friends wherever she goes, including in the Indian resteraunt where we went for dinner tonight. This is her sitting on the bar being entertained by the man who I think may be the owner- the first stranger i've asked if I can take a photo of them for my blip.

Euan being back meant I got a long lie today. When I got up we had brunch of eggs benedict with salmon (our go to posh breakfast). I cheated and cling film poached the eggs. Ivy had a baby version of just the egg white and some cooked smoked salmon- she even had a babycino in her cup whilst we had our cappicinos.

In the afternoon we went to the polytunnel and then to go visit Tilda, Tess and Simon to drop off a blackout blind to (hopefully) help Tilda sleep better. We had tea on the lawn- Tilda shared her toys with Ivy offering her bricks, and copied Euan when he tickles Ivy's back. It's amazing the difference 3 months in age makes. The midges in lochside are fresocious, Ivy has a couple of really visible bites on her head.

Went out for dinner, tried to go to the arch for pie and pint but they seem not to do such vulgar things during tourist season, so we went for takeaway instead. Then decided to sit in because it would mean no dishes. Really glad we did- Ivy had a great time playing with the staff- we were so pleased we left a rather handsome tip (and the food was delicious)
