Shades of grey.....

Today, someone that I thought was pleasant and reasonable, has done something completely wrong and out of order.
It never ceases to surprise me when people that I think I know, do things like this, but should I really be surprised......or should I just accept that we can never really know somebody 100% and that everyone has the potential to surprise and disappoint, myself included.
