Under threat- Park of Keir

We have just learnt that Judy Murray’s controversial application to build a tennis centre financed by 100 houses on the Greenbelt between Dunblane and Bridge-of-Allan has been lodged with Stirling Council.

Moreover we have only got two weeks to lodge our objections! and this at a time of year when most of us are either on holiday or preparing to go.


But we should not be surprised. This is a typical dubious developers tactic when they want to get through a difficult planning application.

However, we are disappointed that Judy Murray, the mother of Wimbledon champion and Olympic Gold medal winner, Andy should go along with such manoeuvres.
