I spent the morning on emails, the afternoon meeting constituents and the evening speaking at a YES Cowal meeting in the village hall in Blairmore.

This is the restored Blairmore Pier which is directly opposite the hall. It has a busy history and has been serving passengers since 1855, though it was closed for a while and not put back into service until 2005.

Blairmore is within the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park so when the Waverley calls here, as it does during the summer, it is coming into one of the gateways to that park.
