Richard's day off.

In the morning Tess and I bought loom bands and t-shirts plus an end-of-year thank you present for her teacher.

After lunch we went to Marwood Hill Gardens to see how Dylan the dog would cope with it. He was mostly okay. I don't think Richard enjoyed it though.

The chap in the café seemed extremely pleased to see someone under 60, and didn't charge me for the treacle tart I ordered for Tess.
I'm one of those weird people who actually quite enjoys being surrounded by old folk. And really young people too now I come to think of it.

Maybe I just don't fit in the middle very well...

Anyway: there were ducks and ducklings and they were ridiculously cute
