Birthday meals

Every year my local WI has a birthday meal in July. I have not been for a couple of years and my memory was of a hot meal followed too many desserts brought along by the members. This year they had dispensed with the main course and the birthday meal consisted only of puddings - lots of them and wine! The photo shows just half the table.

It's No1 son's 21st birthday today and he is having a birthday "meal" somewhere in Croatia with a load of friends from his orienteering club. I am hoping to see evidence on Facebook tomorrow.
