The Cucumber

The Cucumber plant has been one of our few veggie successes this year (or survived the dogs destructive tendencies…).

Lucky that, as it's one of LMBs favourite vegetables.

A busy weekend - I spent most of Saturday removing an old fence and strimming impenetrable undergrowth on a humid murky day. [Downside of living on a hill - when the cloud is low, you're in it, not underneath].

Sunday had a second trip to Ratho where LMB finally got the hang of coming down as well as up and I managed to squeeze in a quick climb myself. Then home to do stuff in the field and garden while she went riding, and an evening mowing in the sun.

Sadly have picked up a stinking cold and lost my voice...
