St Michael's Church Askham

Life is so hectic at the moment, hopefully things will settle down and I will get time to comment on all you nice people who give me comments!

CC had to take her Mum to the hospital today, and as it was her first time out of the care home we decided to make a day of it. She came home for some lunch then we nipped up to Carlisle with a quick visit to Houghton Garden Centre followed by the appointment which took a staggering 1 1/2 hours. After the appointment a quick shop for cushions for seats in Clickychick's Studio then back home for a meal before delivering FredaH back to the home. Considering her physical condition recently she coped remarkably well.

After dropping her off the evening was so glorious we headed for Askham hoping to get shots of Lowther Castle in the evening sun. No chance the front is covered in scaffolding as the renovation continues. On the 20th Feb I blipped John Lowther 1st Viscount Lonsdale inside this church. Tonight it was standing beautifully in the evening sun so we spent time shooting there instead.
