Botanics

As is often the case in Glasgow, the weather really brightened up towards the evening.
We popped to the park to kick a ball about for a while, a few hours later we ended up in the West End having dinner at Charlie Rocks Diner. We started a little walk, went on a path we'd never been before, turned out to be a cycle/walk all the way along the River Kelvin , it took us to the Botanic Gardens. It was fun discovering this practically on our doorstep!

This was taken at almost 7pm, it was really warm and the park was full of people relaxing and enjoying the weather. These are some of the glasshouses (Kibble Palace) at the Botanics, fairly recently refurbished.
The rest of the week looks to be pretty nice, so pleased for all the visitors for the Games!
