Packing a week into 24 hours

After an extremely scary trip in the dark on twisty and unfamiliar mountain roads to the second emergency room this week, our daughter was still fighting a virus that wouldn't let go. We loved our cabin and the misty mountain morning...but we love our daughter so much more!!!
So to the disappointment of the children, we packed up and headed home. It really doesn't matter where we are, we can have fun and make the best of it!
We found a great hotel halfway home, and we know the cabin will be there the next time we want to visit. Our priority is to get our daughter home safely and to get her healthy again!!!
We sure packed a lot into the last 24 hours!!!
