Split in two.
The Alamanda plant lives just outside the window, right where I can look at it, and admire the beautiful flowers, every morning as I eat my breakfast. And recently I noticed that each of the petal have two distinct colours, split right down the middle; one half paler pink, the other half a darker shade.
Isn't it strange how we can see something every day, yet not notice these tiny "quirks" which make each plant, each flower, each petal, an individual in its own right?
"Every flower is a soul blossoming in nature." ~ Gerard de Nerval.
