Remembering A Life.
The Cloisters at Salisbury Cathedral. A few of the original grave markers from WW1. The one the lady is looking at reads "Gnr GAK Buskin, Australian Field Artillery, killed 3rd November 1917, Belgium."
George Buskin was 23 years old, and is buried at Huts Cemetery, West-Vlaanderem, Belgium.
He was born in India, and his parents lived in Canterbury, Kent. Over half the troops in this particular Regiment were British or Irish. Making up the numbers I suppose.
