'Sleeping Corellas'
Down at our local shops in Diamond Creek.
I stopped on the way home to pick up some fish n chips for dinner, and just as I opened the car door to get out, there was an almighty crash, just about 50m from where I was parked. Two cars had slammed into each other at the traffic lights into the carpark. Smoke was billowing out of one of the cars and people came running from everywhere to check how the occupants in the cars were, luckily right next door to the shops there is a police, fire and ambulance station, no more than 100m from the scene. The ambulance was first on the scene, closely followed the the fire brigade (2 appliances). Hope everyone was okay.
These Corellas gather every night at dusk to sleep in the same trees, there must be thousands of them and they all seem to sleep together in pairs.
