Hastings pier

We are currently at my sis-in-law's in Hastings. We walked into the town past the old burnt out pier. A sad plight for many of Britain's Victorian piers, however Hastings has received a lottery grant plus raised some funds locally and this pier is under restoration. A huge project but the target for completion is June 2015, so hopefully when we return at some time in the future I will be able to blip the finished project.
