How sad that we do not seem to learn.

These bronzed shoes by the banks of the Danube tell the story of the awful atrocities committed against Hungarian Jews. In a week when the conflict in Gaza has escalated yet again and the wicked shooting down of an airliner has happened it caused me much reflection on humanity and our seeming inability to resolve our perceived differences by peaceful means.
