Waiting for the same thing

Decided to have a cycle out to Cramond and back so strapped the camera on my back to take an out and about picture. The walkway from Granton to Cramond is really picturesque and the wooping lines of the sea wall make a really nice leading line.

I stopped to have a chat with this old chap. He comes to this spot every day, has a sit down and then wanders back, same thing day after day, no variation other than the weather. It seems sad that he is stuck in the same old routine, never experimenting, never trying new things. I just wanted to tell him to walk the opposite way the next day and see what happens...
