Polishing it up

While the rest of the the UK's holiday makers relaxed in the sun, Beryl and I decided that today's 27C was perfect for clearing the shed and putting together a proto darkroom.

My goodness it was hot!

Anyway. I found this tin of Brasso and set too polishing my hip flask - an essential fishing tool.

While I was buffing it up, it did strike me how incongruous Brasso is. In this digital age does anyone buy it or use it? It feels out of time, a bit like Camp Coffee or Force Flakes.

It may be a bit old fashioned but my goodness it has great graphics and Ive just noticed the Queen uses it to clean up her crown!
