Torque wrench
First proper morning in the gym since coming back from holiday and it hurt.
Left work and headed into town to Evans Cycles to try and buy a lock for the bike with no luck. People complain that using online shops like Wiggle is killing small bike shops and its true. However even a big shop like Evans only had a couple of locks that were suitable according to my insurance company, and neither one were the type I wanted so Wiggle it is.
Finding out that when you buy a more expensive bike there are other things to consider that I never thought of. The saddle isn't secures in place like the last bike. There are two screws that have to be torqued to 6-8Nm hence the torque wrench. I need to be able to take the saddle on and off to get the bike in the back of the car as well these days.
Spending the night in, J has cooked a shepherd’s pie and we have some TV to catch up on. Gym in the morning and then a couple of flats to see in the evening. Just need to sort a plumber out tomorrow.
