THE NYMPH

at the little pond in my favoured garden in town.
Piet Hein and I descended the hill, at the Rathaus we wanted to ask some questions.
Along the Weser we walked back and of course I ventured to visit the garden at the Bridge Street, always something exiting to watch there. Last time I had seen a dead Dragon-fly lying upon a waterlily leaf.
And now on close inspection I detected two Nymphs holding on the stems.
I am not good at this but I wondered if the dragonflies had emerged already from them? Perhaps I should stay there for hours, days perhaps seeing the miracle to happen.
One can see the process in several videos at YouTube.
Along the river with a breeze the temperature had been perfect but after lunch it was so hot again, that she took shelter and dozed off while reading a book.
We saw so many butterflies, and so many different kinds too, at the Buddleia in the warm afternoon, all happily enjoying the sun and the nectar.

My haiku:

Come closer and look
Admire this creature alive
Or only a case

And the proverb:

When the glow-worm lights her lamp, the air is always damp.
