Mad Dogs & Englishmen

Today was a good day. Having been given the promise of being able to leave once my work was done, I raced through it like Billy Wizz. It was commented that most freelancers are disappointed when work is cut short. I'm the complete opposite!! I suppose it helps that I have my own client income too, I guess.

So with the afternoon all to ourselves, me and the pooch climbed a huge hill and then proceeded to run in the scorching heat. She could bathe and drink from the streams. I went without. I've never sweated so much in all my life! It was great fun! A million times better than being stuck indoors.
