The Bell Ringers

Every Tuesday our village is treated to the peel of the bells as the local bellringing group meet to practice and train new recruits. I have wanted to blip them for ages but have never had the courage to ask. And Sushi quite rightly pointed out this evening "the worst they can do is say no and so you politely say 'thank you' and walk out"..talk about 'out of the mouths of babes', it took my 11 year old to put it into perspective..so here are our local bell ringers.

The stone monument in the centre is the shaft of an anglo saxon cross, which is an artefact of high archeological significance due to it's age and condition.
