Little canoes

There was a small flotilla of canoes this evening. I loved their bright colours. I think the guy on the paddle board might have been an instructor. This is the first time I've seen them.

My bruises from that fall yesterday are beginning to come out and look quite spectacular. Fortunately most of them are hidden!

We're back in unplanned chaos again. I went to get something out of the bottom of the wardrobe this morning only to find a couple of bags gone a bit mouldy. Given the mould problems we discovered elsewhere we made the momentous decision to check the back of the wardrobe. So, everything had to come out and we moved it and .... yep mould about a foot up the back. Sigh. So now I have to scrub it and treat it with the mould remover, then varnish it. Having emptied the wardrobe and pulled it away from the wall it really seems to make sense to do the update painting on that wall and the wall behind our bed that we'd been planning for a while. Fortunately we've still got enough paintpod paint left for the job, so guess what we'll be doing tomorrow!
