Cherished plot

The friends we visited today are keen gardeners and their garden is looking its best at the moment. The plot is dominated by a huge cedar tree that has a preservation order. It shades the lawn to a parched yellow and sheds its needles profusely, so it isn't very popular. Our gardener friends have a huge array of pots and as we left they were thinking about the daily watering. I was presented with a pot of cuttings of a strongly scented geranium.
